Franchise Business Consultant - job 1 of 2

Bumble Roofing, part of Empower Brands, is hiring a results-driven Franchise Business Consultant to support, coach, and grow a portfolio of franchise owners. The role focuses ~30% on onboarding new franchisees and ~70% on growing and supporting existing locations through operational improvements, training, field visits, and financial analysis to increase same-store sales and profitability.

Skills

Proven franchise support, consulting, or small business ownership experience
Strong multi-unit operations and KPI knowledge
Coaching and change-influence skills with business owners
Financial analysis and P&L management
CRM and reporting tool proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication
Analytical problem solving and prioritization
Experience in home services, construction, or roofing preferred

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of up to ~30 franchise owners, building collaborative, trust-based relationships
Conduct business assessments and develop customized action plans to improve performance
Lead regular coaching calls and meetings to review KPIs and hold franchisees accountable
Onboard and ramp new franchisees, delivering training, workshops, and webinars
Perform field visits to evaluate operations, enforce brand standards, and provide actionable recommendations
Analyze financials (P&Ls, sales data, margins) and advise on pricing, job costing, and profitability
Implement and reinforce SOPs and share system-wide best practices
Support brand initiatives, regional trainings, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement projects
Identify expansion and local market growth opportunities specific to roofing and exterior services
Travel up to 25% to support franchisees and attend meetings/trainings

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
Equivalent work experience in franchise operations or business consulting accepted
