We are seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior leadership team and internal stakeholders.
Establishing effective and appropriate project governance for a project.
Producing and maintaining a project plan while conducting the project within constraints of the framework used by different delivery teams.
Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Estimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goals.
Ensuring proper financial management of the project.
Ensuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited college or university and 10+ years of experience providing technical and management support in a chemical or nuclear industry.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
5+ years of experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment and managing treatment processes in a chemical or nuclear industry.
Must have experience managing an RCRA permitted facility, and experience maintaining a DOE/NNSA facility within a prescribed facility safety envelope.
Knowledge and experience in managing personnel in various disciplines.

The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium.
