Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (software, vendor, group sales, corporate rate, event space) with scalable templates and workflows
- Design and maintain contract templates and self-service workflows in Ironclad or similar contract management systems
- Develop and enforce contract procurement, approval, signatory controls, and renewal tracking processes
- Own litigation and dispute strategy, manage outside counsel, evaluate exposure, and drive cost-effective resolutions
- Design and manage the company insurance program, lead renewals, broker selection, underwriting strategy, and claims handling
- Advise on employment law and workforce risk across multiple states; maintain defensible employment practices and documentation
- Manage corporate governance, entity compliance, and support financing and strategic transaction work streams
- Maintain and expand trademark portfolio, advise on privacy and data protection compliance, and update customer-facing legal policies
- Lead, build, and mentor the regulatory/legal team and manage outside counsel relationships to drive quality and efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, finance, and people teams to enable business initiatives while limiting legal and operational risk
Education
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active admission to the bar of a U.S. state
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
