Paralegal - Personal Injury Law #0209

Our client, a respected boutique law firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its personal injury practice, with particular strength in Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury matters. The firm is known for handling a focused caseload of significant-value matters, giving each team member the opportunity to play an important part in achieving meaningful results for clients.

This position offers far more than standard paralegal support work. The successful candidate will partner closely with seasoned attorneys on sophisticated, high-exposure cases from the pre-litigation stage through trial. The environment is collaborative, client-driven, detail-focused, and compassionate, and our client is looking for someone whose approach aligns with those values.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and overseeing complex matters across pre-litigation, litigation, and trial stages
  • Preparing pleadings, interrogatories, and requests for production
  • Maintaining case calendars and helping ensure deadlines and details are consistently managed
  • Communicating by phone and email with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other case-related contacts
  • Assisting with the identification and coordination of expert involvement in active matters
  • Reviewing and summarizing medical records and assembling demand packages

Essential

  • Strong organizational abilities with a sharp eye for detail
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury or civil litigation
  • Experience using case management software
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including professionalism, warmth, and a client-focused approach
  • High school diploma
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities

Preferred

  • Previous exposure to leadership responsibilities or a clear record of professional growth within a law firm
  • Experience working with FileVine and Microsoft Office
  • Relevant degree or paralegal certification
  • Salary: $55,000 – $70,000
  • Paid sick leave and paid holidays
  • 401(k) eligibility after 1 year of employment
