Head of Paid Media (Performance + Innovation)

We’re not looking for someone to manage ads.
We’re looking for someone to move markets.

This role is for a builder—someone who sees paid media as a growth engine, not a checklist. Someone who is just as comfortable optimizing a Meta campaign as they are testing what’s next on YouTube, Reddit, or emerging AI platforms.

You will own paid media end-to-end, but more importantly, you’ll push it forward.

We are a creative-first organization with an in-house video team producing high-quality, original content. Paid media isn’t an afterthought here—it’s a force multiplier.

Your job is to connect the two:

  • Turn great content into scalable performance
  • Turn insights into creative direction
  • Turn experimentation into revenue

You won’t just run campaigns—you’ll shape how we grow.

Who you are

You’re obsessed with optimization—not in theory, in practice.
You test, learn, iterate, and repeat faster than most.

You don’t wait for direction. You bring it.

You’re the type of operator who:

  • Actively looks for what’s next (YouTube ads, Reddit, AI-native platforms, emerging channels)
  • Uses AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to eliminate manual work and move faster
  • Loves data, but knows it only matters if it drives decisions
  • Thinks in terms of CAC, LTV, and revenue—not just CTR and CPM
  • Sees creative as a performance lever, not a separate function
  • Is comfortable operating in a regulated industry where accuracy and compliance matter

You’re equal parts analytical and inventive. You care about results, but you’re not afraid to try something new to get there.

You’re also comfortable stepping outside the platform—partnering with internal teams and engaging directly with clients when needed. You can translate performance into insight and strategy, not just reporting.

Location

This is not a remote role.
You must be based in—or willing to relocate to—Austin, Texas to work side by side with our team. We believe the best ideas happen in the room, especially when creative and performance are working together.

The opportunity

What we need now is someone who can turn that into a true performance engine—within a category that’s evolving quickly and a consumer base that expects more.

Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
