- Hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud administration experience
- Strong Terraform experience with modular design and state management
- Virtual machine provisioning, lifecycle management, and image hardening
- Container platform experience (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes) and Docker
- Networking knowledge: VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs
- IAM, encryption (KMS/TLS), and secrets management best practices
- CI/CD integration and automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
- Security and compliance experience: monitoring, SIEM, vulnerability management
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, including VMs, networking, and storage
- Design and implement VPC/subnet architectures, routing, security groups, NACLs, and private networking
- Author and maintain Terraform modules, remote state, and IaC repositories; lead IaC migrations where needed
- Build, maintain, and harden VM images (AMIs/golden images) and enforce security baselines
- Manage container platforms (ECS/EKS) and support containerized workload lifecycle, networking, and image security
- Integrate infrastructure provisioning and security into CI/CD pipelines and automate operational workflows
- Configure and monitor security and observability tooling (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, SIEM integrations)
- Support vulnerability management, patching, DR, high availability, and cost optimization efforts
- Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and audit evidence for compliance assessments
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, application engineering, and security teams to enforce least-privilege access and secure-by-default configurations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant cloud or security certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure, Security)
