Vice President of Operations

TruChoice Federal Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee daily activities within assigned departments, lead staff development, support enterprise planning and performance, and contribute to operational excellence aligned with the credit union's mission.

• 5-10 years of Financial Operations Leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred
• Strong understanding of regulations affecting lending
• Extensive knowledge of consumer lending practices and procedures
• Leadership and staff development experience

• Oversees day to day operations within assigned departments, ensuring efficient, compliant, and member focused service delivery.

• Develops, recommends, and implements operational policies, objectives, and process improvements.

• Assists in preparing strategic plans, annual budgets, and departmental goals.
• Prepares operational updates and reporting; develops tools to measure service levels, defect rates, and key performance metrics.
• Monitors trends and presents reporting to the STeam and Board of Directors.
• Reviews and approves/denies consumer and mortgage loans within policies and objectives of the Credit Union.
• Participates in ALCO to support capital, liquidity, and pricing strategies, and ensures operational compliance across functions.
• Provides leadership and direction to the operations team, motivating them to achieve key measures and objectives.
