Skills
- Strong Python proficiency and production software engineering experience
- Experience building scalable systems, APIs, or AI/ML applications
- Familiarity with large language models, generative AI, or agentic systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of government or regulated environments and operational requirements
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize integrations between Starshield frontier models and government systems, data environments, and platforms
- Develop custom SDKs, APIs, developer tools, and documentation tailored for government and enterprise developers
- Partner with agency stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and iterate based on operational feedback
- Ship production-grade code with emphasis on speed, simplicity, reliability, and measurable impact
- Collaborate with research, legal/governance, and infrastructure teams on safe and compliant AI deployments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM field OR
- Minimum 2+ years professional software development experience in lieu of degree
