Skills
- Analog and RF IC design experience (SiGe or CMOS)
- Circuit simulation and modeling (Spectre, ADS, HFSS, Momentum)
- Design and analysis of PLLs, mixers, oscillators, LNAs, PAs and filters
- Knowledge of digital comms and modulation schemes (QPSK, QAM, APSK)
- Experience with RF/microwave test equipment and radio characterization
- IC floorplanning, layout awareness and parasitic/package modeling
- Collaborative cross-disciplinary engineering and documentation
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems
- Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits
- Develop analog/mixed-signal/RF/microwave circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
- Partition functions with systems, modem/DSP and ASIC teams
- Perform IC floor planning and layout and model package/external parasitics
- Evaluate, characterize and analyze prototype and full-radio performance
- Develop and support automated test lab equipment and production test/qualification
Education
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science (required)
- Master's or PhD in electrical/computer engineering with RF/analog emphasis (preferred)
