- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of build systems and package managers (Make, Bazel, Gradle, pip, npm)
- Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and database systems (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- 3D graphics experience (three.js, OpenGL, Vulkan, Unreal Engine) and CAD integration experience (NX, Altium, Xpedition)
- Strong profiling, performance optimization, and testing practices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software tools used across engineering and manufacturing workflows
- Develop mesh processing, 3D rendering, simulation, and wearable (iPad/iPhone) applications
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and surface technical constraints
- Own product lifecycle from requirements and architecture through testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to translate needs into software solutions
- Integrate electronics/CAD design software with manufacturing equipment and data systems
- Participate in architecture and code reviews and drive performance profiling and optimization
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline OR
- 2+ years professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
