Skills
- Proven support experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and ChromeOS in an enterprise setting
- Networking fundamentals: Wi‑Fi setup, routers, VPN troubleshooting
- Experience with AV systems, displays, and classroom technologies
- Knowledge of POS and commercial systems
- Strong hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, smart devices)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication
- Ability to work independently and manage interruptions
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for residents, educational staff, and commercial employees, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues via ticketing systems and remote tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network devices, Wi‑Fi, displays, classroom tech, printers, laptops, AV systems, and point-of-sale equipment in retail, restaurant, recreation, and hospitality spaces.
- Configure and manage Wi‑Fi networks, IoT devices, and connectivity solutions tailored to residential, educational, and commercial needs.
- Collaborate with IT Services, AV, Networking, facilities, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and integrate systems.
- Create and maintain user-friendly documentation and training materials for varied user groups.
- Participate in hardware upgrades, educational technology enhancements, and commercial system integrations.
- Adapt to evolving duties and provide flexible support across shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Technical certifications (preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications
- Associate degree or vocational training in IT (preferred)
