- Strong debugging, deployment, and validation experience across simulated and real hardware
- Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly reliable, real-time software to determine beam formation (user, laser, gateway) for optimal user experience.
- Lead architecture, design, and code reviews; drive engineering decisions and technical direction.
- Develop prototypes and run experiments to validate algorithms and system designs.
- Create tools for development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution.
- Support testing across virtualized environments, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit campaigns.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or other STEM discipline and 5+ years professional software development experience
- Or 7+ years professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
