Frontend React Engineer - Contract
Skills
- 3+ years active development with React.js
- 3+ years JavaScript experience and strong HTML/CSS skills
- Experience with Redux Toolkit and React Hooks
- Familiarity with testing tools/frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha
- Proficiency with REST APIs and JSON
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and browser performance testing skills
- Experience using git and following gitflow workflow
- Comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM environments
Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-accurate, responsive web interfaces
- Develop and implement UI components using React (including Hooks) and Redux Toolkit
- Build new features from the ground up and enhance/maintain existing projects
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define API and data requirements
- Participate in code reviews, write clean reusable code, and follow gitflow
- Write unit and integration tests and assist QA by validating and fixing bugs
- Contribute to architecture and performance improvement discussions
- Estimate work, meet deadlines, and ensure acceptance criteria are met before QA
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer (no visa sponsorship available)
