AP® is a rigorous academic program built on the commitment, passion, and hard work of students and educators from secondary schools and higher education. With43courses in a wide variety of subject areas,APprovideswillingandacademicallypreparedhighschoolstudentswiththeopportunitytostudy and learn at the college level. The AP program is rapidly expanding its development ofinstructional and assessment products under the leadership of the growing Assessment Production team. The cross-functional team consists of professionals withexpertisein a variety of domains that are integral to the production of AP Exam content.
About the Opportunity
As theAssociate Director,AP Bilingual Editorial Quality (Spanish/English),youwillensureallAPassessmentmaterialsareconsistentinstyleandreflectthehighlevelofquality AP teachersandstudentsexpect fromthe College Board. You shouldhavedemonstratededitorialexpertisein both English and Spanishand a keen eye for detail, as well as the demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work independently on tight deadlines, and collaboratewithnumerousstakeholders.
As part of the AP Assessment Production team, your impact will be significant. You will edit and proofreadAPExamsandinstructionalassessmentresources across39courses,applyingandhelpingtoshapetheAPExamstyle.Youwill workclosely withcontentexperts to ensure all AP assessment materials are clear, consistent, and error-free. You will serve as an expert on editorial matters and be accountable for the editorial quality and accuracy of all reviewed products.Additionally,you willplayaleadingroleinshapingtheclarityandqualityofall 7APWorldLanguages’assessment materials.Youwillensure that Spanish-language content isaccurate, polished, and aligned with our standards, while also contributing to the consistency and editorial excellence of materials across allAP courses, including the5additionalWorld Language courses.

Youwillhelp refine style,ensure accuracy and clarity,and support the growth of editorial capabilities within the organization. In this role, you will:
Serve as theprincipal editor ofSpanish-languageAP Examcontentand associated materials,andparticipatein thestrategic planning and maintenance of documentation to support that effort(40%)
Contributeto overall AP editorial excellence by conducting editorial reviews ofallEnglish-language authoredAP courses’exam questions, test forms, and instructional resources (40%)
Oversee editorial reviews of exam questions and associated materials for all AP World Language(WL) courses (20%)
