We are seeking a high-energy, "hands-on" Supply Chain Coordinator to take full ownership of our material flow. This is not a high-level strategy or pure data science role; we need a "doer" who will live in our ERP system to ensure MRP accuracy, manage the end-to-end purchase order (PO) lifecycle, and maintain rigorous inventory control. You will be the primary point of contact for our vendors, ensuring that all parts needed for production are identified, ordered, tracked, and received on time.
MRP & Requirement Planning: Perform daily execution of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to generate purchase requisitions and ensure material availability for production schedules.
Order Lifecycle Management: Convert requisitions into POs, send to vendors, and manage the full cycle through to receipt and 3-way invoice matching.
Active Vendor Management: Maintain daily communication with suppliers to track open orders, expedite critical shortages, and resolve lead-time or quality discrepancies (SCARs).
Inventory Control: Lead physical inventory accuracy initiatives, including the coordination of cycle counts, root-cause analysis of variances, and management of the RMA/Return-to-Vendor (RTV) process.
Data Integrity: Manage Material Master data, including Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, safety stock levels, and correct lead-time offsets.
3–7 Years of Practical Experience: Proven track record in a Buyer, Planner, or Materials Coordinator role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
ERP Execution Expert: Hands-on experience executing transactions in SAP (MM/PP modules), Oracle SCM, NetSuite (not just pulling reports), or similar MRP/ERP tools.
Tactical Procurement: Experience in the "nuts and bolts" of procurement: negotiating delivery dates, managing freight/logistics, and resolving receiving dock issues.
Problem Solver: Ability to identify a supply gap and fix it immediately through vendor negotiation or internal process adjustment.
Zero "line-down" events due to unmanaged material shortages.
98%+ inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counting and ERP discipline.
Reduction in lead-time variability through active vendor expediting and relationship management.
