Location

Remote, Europe or US (from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).

Role

The mission of this role is to own and elevate how Morpho shows up in the world by building a dedicated, commercially-minded events function from the ground up, covering everything from recurring hosted dinners and conference attendance to the flagship Morpho-owned productions we plan to build over time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the events calendar end to end: decide which conferences Morpho attends, who from the team goes, and what we want to get out of each one, so every attendance decision ties back to clear business objectives and is followed through with the right people.

  • Plan and run hosted experiences around the events that matter most to us, owning venue selection, merch, gifts, and every production detail that shapes how guests experience Morpho.

  • Lead Morpho-owned conferences from concept to execution, owning format, programming, production, and delivery as we build our own flagship events over time.

  • Track speaking and sponsorship opportunities across the industry, surface them to the team, manage external partners and organizers, and coordinate Morpho's presence at third-party events.

  • Manage merch and branded collateral tied to events, ensuring every touchpoint reflects how Morpho wants to show up in the real world.

  • Lead vision and creative direction for internal events, office experience, and offsites, including team gatherings and milestone moments that bring the company together.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days

  • Ramped on Morpho: the product, the customers, the commercial priorities, and the team

  • Mapped the full landscape of relevant industry events over the next 12 months

  • Built a shared view of what we have done historically at events, what worked, and what did not

  • Identified the next 1-2 events on the calendar and taken operational ownership of them

First 4 months

  • Published a prioritized events calendar for the year, tied to business objectives, with clear rationale on what is in and what is out

  • Defined the default playbook for how Morpho shows up per event type (tier 1 vs. tier 2 vs. opportunistic)

  • Run several hosted experiences end to end, with clear objectives set beforehand and a post-mortem after

In 1 year

  • Multiple events executed to a high standard, with a proven track record of pipeline and relationships generated

  • Events function operates predictably; leadership and Growth know what to expect and when

  • A clear proposal on the concept, format, and timeline for a Morpho-owned conference

  • Reputation internally as the person who makes Morpho show up better than it ever has before

Must-have Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of events experience, including at least 3 years in the crypto or Web3 space

  • Proven track record running demand gen events, hosted gatherings, and larger-scale productions end to end

  • Strong project management skills across multiple internal and external teams simultaneously

  • Commercial mindset: able to define clear event objectives, drive follow-up, and measure outcomes in terms of pipeline and relationships

  • Comfortable getting hands-on at every level, from building the run-of-show to carrying boxes on the day

  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift and no playbook exists

  • Strong ownership and autonomy; does not wait to be told what to do

  • Clear and crisp communication across time zones and with diverse internal and external stakeholders

  • Low ego; happy to contribute wherever the team needs, regardless of the task
