- Strong Ruby on Rails experience and monolith-to-service refactoring
- Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (modern tooling)
- API design and integration (REST/JSON)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting full-stack systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows
- Interest or experience integrating AI/ML solutions
- Observability and operationalization (monitoring, alerting)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions serving internal and external users.
- Develop backend services and frontend interfaces with emphasis on high availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver customer value and prioritize work.
- Write clean, maintainable Ruby on Rails code and help decouple monoliths into API-driven services.
- Contribute to AI/ML initiatives and integrate models to improve automation and predictions.
- Troubleshoot and debug high-volume, high-throughput systems across frontend and backend.
- Implement observability, monitoring, alerting and measure the impact of delivered code.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive engineering and product innovation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (required)
- Equivalent relevant work experience considered
