- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI poly
- US Citizenship required
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa
- Strong routing protocol expertise: BGP, OSPF
- Tunneling and VPN experience: GRE, Site-to-Site VPN, L2TP
- Data center architecture: spine-and-leaf and BGP peering
- Familiarity with network monitoring/management tools (NetScout, NOM)
- IAT II (or industry equivalent) and CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for LAN and WAN engineering teams
- Design, analyze, and implement complex routing and switching solutions
- Serve as subject-matter expert on network architecture, protocols, and integrations
- Advise program teams and stakeholders on technical direction and trade-offs
- Implement and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and various tunneling/VPN technologies
- Design and operate spine-and-leaf data center topologies and BGP peering
- Integrate and operate multi-vendor network equipment and monitoring tools
- Participate in project planning, reviews, and technical documentation
Education
- High School/GED with 11+ years relevant experience
- Associate degree with 9+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years relevant experience
- Master’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience
- PhD with 3+ years relevant experience
- Relevant industry certifications (IAT II, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent)
