We’re based in Chelsea, NYC, building fast and ambitious systems at the intersection of data, AI, and real-world wealth services.
This is FINNY’s first VP of Engineering. You will work directly with the founders and own the entire engineering organization end-to-end. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-scale role. You will define the engineering culture, hire and develop the team, and architect the systems that power FINNY’s next phase of growth.
You’ll be responsible for scaling from an early, high-output team into a world-class engineering org capable of building category-defining AI products. This role is highly cross-functional, highly visible, and deeply tied to company outcomes.

15+ years of engineering experience
10+ years of experience managing and scaling engineering teams
Proven track record of building and scaling teams in high-growth startup environments (Series A → C+ preferred)
Experience leading engineering orgs across product, platform, and/or AI/ML systems
Strong technical depth with the ability to go deep when needed
Experience partnering closely with founders and executive teams
In-person, NYC (5 days/week in Chelsea office)
