I interviewed for this position where the pay range was different (higher), completed my second interview and was then told the position was placed on freeze/hold for internal reasons. 5 months later, I received a phone call informing me that they wanted to complete my final interview and they later offered me the position. I was told that the pay range had been lowered for the position and was non-negotiable. I accepted the job offer and pay but felt that my original offer should have been honored due to the freeze. . .
