Aeries is seeking a Data Engineer to design and evolve data pipelines and migration frameworks that support their data-driven Student Information System for K-12 schools. This role focuses on migrating legacy customer data while leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency.
Responsibilities: Design and execute ETL processes, validate and reconcile data, partner with coordinators for timely project delivery, identify automation opportunities, evaluate conversion methods, and document processes.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in TSQL and Python, experience with ETL and relational databases, and familiarity with AI data tools are essential.
Qualifications: 3+ years in data conversion or migration, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and experience in EdTech or related industries preferred.
Location: Primarily remote with a requirement to work from specific states, including AZ, CA, TX, and others.
Compensation: $95000 - $125000 / Annually

As a Data Engineer, you are a technically rigorous and innovation-minded professional responsible for designing, building, and evolving the data pipelines, migration frameworks, and integration systems that power Aeries implementations. While the initial focus of this role centers on migrating customer data from legacy Student Information Systems into Aeries, the scope is intentionally built to expand. As our data infrastructure, AI tooling, and Professional Services offerings grow, this role will grow with them.
