The Role

If you want to join the exciting world of AI, if you enjoy learning about a wide variety of technologies and products and if you want to meet and develop relationships with customers all over the world, then a career in Analog Devices Datacenter and Energy Field Applications Engineering team could be for you. ADI's Field Applications Engineers enable the interface between the world’s leading analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing provider and its customers.  Field Applications Engineers play a vital role in every customer engagement at Analog Devices, whether that involves creating content for customers (e.g. hardware, software, or documentation) or supporting customers from their architecture design right through to issues that occur in the field.

The candidate will manage a team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs), who support our vertical Datacenter customers.  The role demands excellent communication, strategic thinking and hands-on customer technical solving capability. This role requires the ability to understand, aggregate, and synthesize the technical needs of our customers and FAEs.  This position also involves working with Sales, Business Units, and Technology Groups to identify key opportunities and convey the voice of our customers. • Work with sales teams to optimize customer-centric experience and maximize sales results

  • Manage, train, and mentor recently hired FAEs
  • Guide FAEs in career and personal development
  • Lead efforts to recruit new FAEs and related technical roles

  • Through experience and customer interactions, training FAEs and Sales in relevant technology
  • Work closely with the Business Units (BUs) to ensure the customer voice is elevated via knowledge of our customers systems and influence key product roadmaps
  • Develop and propose new product ideas to Product Lines to fill customers' needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Product Lines' Management, Marketing, and Applications personnel
  • Work in concert with the Global Account Managers, Sales, Field Applications and Business Unit teams to develop and execute a successful Datacenter technology strategy
  • Collaborate with other FAEs and Global Account Managers to identify areas for increased and accelerated investment, as well as potential IP synergies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts
  • Have in-depth conversations with customers about ADI Datacenter capabilities and aspirations
  • Understand and disseminate customers' system needs versus wants

Minimum Qualifications:
