Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Skills
- 7+ years in DevOps / SRE roles with demonstrated production reliability ownership
- Proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud architecture patterns
- Experience building secure, scalable IoT or distributed architectures
- Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Containerization and orchestration expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Strong grasp of SLAs/SLOs/SLIs and observability tooling and practices
- Deep networking knowledge (TCP/IP) and security best practices
- Scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, Bash, Rust, etc.)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
Responsibilities
- Provision, manage, and scale cloud and on-prem infrastructure supporting business systems.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery speed, reliability, and security.
- Promote and implement observability best practices (metrics, logging, tracing) across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into secure cloud solutions.
- Assess workload demands, capacity plan, and harden systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement infrastructure as code and operational runbooks; automate routine operational tasks.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) highly valued
