Skills
- 5-8 years full-stack software development experience
- Experience with secure, air-gapped, or resource-constrained operational environments
- Proficiency with C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java
- Advanced SQL Server experience including query tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with search technologies (Solr/Lucene, ElasticSearch)
- DevOps and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Ability to navigate complex legacy codebases and rapidly solve technical problems
- Active U.S. Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack software solutions across front-end, back-end, and data layers
- Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability
- Develop and tune database queries and schemas, with emphasis on SQL Server performance
- Follow software best practices: code reviews, revision control, CI/CD and testing
- Triage issues, diagnose root causes, and deliver timely fixes under tight timelines
- Collaborate with program managers and technical leads to define requirements and estimate timelines
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on design and implementation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable STEM field, or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated technical training or coursework relevant to full-stack development and secure systems
