Market Access Manager

Astranis builds advanced geostationary and high-orbit satellites that provide secure, dedicated networks to enterprises, governments, and the U.S. military. We are looking for an experienced Market Access Manager to lead international licensing, landing rights, and regulatory engagement to support the company’s accelerating launch cadence and global market expansion.

Skills

  • Regulatory research and analysis for satellite communications
  • Experience preparing license and authorization applications
  • Strong stakeholder engagement with national regulators and industry bodies
  • Technical understanding of satellite systems and earth stations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Negotiation and advocacy skills in regulatory contexts
  • Project and process management across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Proficiency in English; additional language preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead acquisition and maintenance of satellite and earth station licenses/authorizations across multiple countries
  • Engage directly with national regulatory authorities and build strong relationships to facilitate approvals
  • Prepare and coordinate technical and regulatory documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Advocate for regulatory and policy changes to enable Astranis market expansion
  • Represent Astranis at regional and international meetings and forums (e.g., ITU-related events)
  • Provide regulatory support to commercial teams for landing rights and market access negotiations
  • Leverage industry organizations to streamline market access in priority markets
  • Track and report on regulatory developments and risks affecting market access

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, public policy, or related technical field required
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is an asset
