Senior Zuora Revenue Consultant

Attain Talent's client is a NetSuite-focused consulting firm executing an enterprise NetSuite Chart of Accounts reimplementation for a large SaaS company. They seek a Senior Zuora Revenue Consultant (independent contractor) to own Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue deliverables across discovery, migration, testing, and production cutover, with particular emphasis on remapping and migrating an enterprise-scale revenue schedule waterfall under ASC 606.

Skills

5+ years hands-on Zuora Revenue (RevPro) configuration in production: journal rules, revenue arrangement templates, POB assignments.
3+ years Zuora Billing configuration: journal entry rules, product-to-GL mapping, billing transaction account assignments.
Proven experience executing GL account remapping and migrating revenue schedules in a live Zuora Revenue environment.
Practical working knowledge of ASC 606 as applied to SaaS (SSP allocation, contract mods, variable consideration, deferred revenue rollforwards).
Experience with end-to-end testing, reconciliation, and producing ITGC/change documentation.

Responsibilities

Assess and document current-state Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue GL configurations, templates, and waterfall account settings.
Map Zuora segment dimensions to the proposed COA and contribute field-level mapping workbooks to the solution spec.
Reconfigure Zuora Billing journal entry rule sets and Zuora Revenue POB account assignments to align with the redesigned NetSuite GL.
Execute controlled migration of the full revenue schedule waterfall population with zero revenue recognition impact.
Design and run SIT scenarios and financial close simulations; validate subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
Facilitate Zuora UAT with Finance and RevOps, triage defects, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
Support production cutover sequencing, validate post-cutover data integrity, and deliver a complete configuration handoff package.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Professional or formal Zuora Revenue training or certification is a plus.
