Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local and statewide campaign strategies, theories of change, milestones and metrics.
- Design campaign materials, policy briefings, and strategic resources for coalition partners and policymakers.
- Convene, support, and maintain relationships with coalitions including environmental justice groups, labor, industry, and community leaders.
- Represent BDC as a lobbyist and engage with legislative and regulatory processes at local and state levels.
- Coordinate cross-organizational campaign activities and support membership engagement through webinars, briefings, and events.
- Collaborate with communications team on messaging, earned media opportunities, and narrative frameworks.
- Track campaign progress, adapt plans to shifting political timelines, and report outcomes to leadership.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, environmental studies, political science, or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Equivalent experience in advocacy or campaigning accepted in lieu of formal degree
