Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include product ownership, performing product discovery, leading initiatives from concept to launch, leveraging AI tools for product development, and making data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
Skills: Candidates must have 6-8+ years of software product management experience, particularly in EdTech or SaaS, with strong skills in requirements gathering, agile methodologies, and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include EdTech platform experience, familiarity with K–12 technology ecosystems, and experience with AI-enabled tools and product analytics.
Location: This position is based in Lake Tapps, Washington and requires no remote work.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $110,000 - $150,000.
Position Description
The Senior Product Manager at CharacterStrong owns the successful development, delivery, and performance of specific product domains within CharacterStrong’s digital platform.
Working under the strategic direction of the Senior Director of Product Management, this role leads discovery, product definition, delivery, and supports cross-functional GTM efforts for key initiatives within the established roadmap. The Senior Product Manager ensures that products deliver measurable value for educators and students while aligning with CharacterStrong’s mission and business objectives.
This role partners closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Project Management, and other cross-functional partners to guide initiatives through the full product lifecycle: discovery, design, development, launch, and iteration.
The Senior Product Manager also plays a key role in modernizing the development lifecycle through AI-assisted product practices, helping squads accelerate development, improve requirements clarity, and increase product insight through data and automation.
