Skills
- Fluency in Python (or similar high-level language)
- Proficiency with frontend development (React, TypeScript)
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale SaaS applications
- Strong full lifecycle product development experience
- Instrumentation, monitoring, and debugging of production systems
- Clear written and oral communication skills and effective team collaboration
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute product development initiatives from prototype through user adoption in partnership with product, design, and engineering peers
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and help make key technical decisions
- Solve complex technical problems across frontend, backend, and infrastructure and drive projects to completion
- Instrument, monitor, debug, and optimize distributed systems end-to-end
- Engage directly with users (data engineers and platform owners) to gather feedback and inform product improvements
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve code quality, user experience, and system performance and lead those initiatives
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ongoing commitment to learning and applying software engineering best practices
