Responsibilities
- Own execution: prioritize work, align stakeholders, and ensure reliable delivery through planning and follow-through
- Define team direction: translate customer needs and product vision into clear technical priorities and tradeoffs
- Develop your team: hire, mentor, and grow engineers while creating stretch opportunities and managing performance
- Drive operational excellence: implement predictable, sustainable engineering processes and project management best practices
- Maintain the technical bar: guide architecture, address technical debt, and ensure high-quality, reliable systems
- Partner with AI Research and Product to roadmap exploratory improvements and novel agent strategies
- Drive rapid, data-driven experimentation to improve agent quality, routing, pricing, and token/cost tradeoffs
- Deepen the Agent Quality flywheel by leveraging user signals, evals, and product analysis to prioritize work
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in CS/AI or related field is a plus but not required
