Edelman is seeking a Temporary Social Content Producer to join our New York-based team and work across our UGC offering called the Creator Bench.

Creator Bench is a social-first content offering. A general understanding of current social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram is necessary. 

The Role:

The Temporary Social Content Producer will the first point of contact for all Creator Bench inquiries and will work closely with account and project management teams to first determine that the request is well suited to be Creator-led. Once intake is assessed, they will work with the account team to build out project scopes, producer staffing plan, and timelines based on target live date, deliverables, and client reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of production and post-production processes for digital and social-first content.  They will work closely with our business affairs team to ensure content is appropriate and cleared for commercial use, as well as staying on top of Creator contracts while assisting with negotiations. They will work closely with supporting Producers overseeing various Creator Bench-led workstreams to ensure timelines are being met, and executions are running smoothly. 

The talent that will succeed in this role will be organized, solution-oriented, and able to roll with quick-turn requests. They should be comfortable negotiating rates and usage with Creators and Agents. While account and project managers will oversee and manage budgets, the Social Content Producer should think of themselves as a partner in ensuring a smooth execution and helps navigate and scope changes in real-time.

Responsibilities:

·         Evaluate requests, build out scopes, assist with timeline development, and advise on Producer allocation and resourcing

·         Writing and reviewing client scopes for accuracy 

·         Partners with the account teams, production, creative and finance leads across channels to ensure a smooth process, proper resource allocation, and a superior end result

·         Possesses an in-depth understanding of various social content platforms and tools, and brings process innovation in how we manage our engagements.

Day to day tasks can include:

  • Develops and maintaining scopes, timelines and budgets
  • Coordinates and partners with Edelman’s integrated production network to ensure projects are staffed appropriately so that campaign launches are successful, and work is completed
  • Point person for the Edelman network to assess client asks against Creator capabilities
  • Liaises with clients/agencies/suppliers to obtain schedules, briefs, assets, technical specifications
  • Responsible for partnering with the Business Affairs team to manage and plan talent contracts 
  • Work with finance team to manage SOs, financial reporting, tracking, billing against all project budgets
  • Liaise with Production and talent for delivery of various projects

Requirements:

  • 5 years of project management or production experience in an agency or production company
  • Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, content production, Creator negotiations, and digital best practices
  • A professional and approachable demeanor, and the ability to thrive in the dynamic highly matrixed agency environment
  • Seasoned Problem Solving
  • Accountability and calm, confident presence
  • Natural and effective collaborator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools e.g. Sharepoint etc.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
