Data Engineering Manager — Data, Cloud and AI

Role Overview 

We are seeking a senior hands-on engineering lead who has experience with data architecture, created unique data and analytics designs and built modern cloud-based data platforms that support analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.  This role requires deep engineering expertise combined with understanding of data architecture and platform engineering.

• Data Engineering 
• Contribute and validate the data and analytics architecture 
• Establish engineering standards and best practices 
• Design and build scalable data platforms and solutions using cloud-native services and cloud data platforms 
• Expertise in implementing Data Products 
• Implement ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines 
• Optimize performance and cost 

• Cloud & Platform Engineering 
• Experience and understanding in Infrastructure-as-Code 
• Implement and Integrated to CI/CD pipelines 
• Observability and reliability best practices and enablement 
• Implement containerized workloads 

•  AI / ML Engineering  
• Enable ML pipelines and understanding of model deployment and monitoring 
• Experience in feature engineering workflows 
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects

• 10+ years data engineering experience 
• Strong Python and SQL skills 
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (GCP priority) 
• Knowledge of ML workflows and platform engineering 
• Experience with DevOps and automation 
• Experience in GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub) 
• Experience building framework-based capabilities 
• Experience in Snowflake or Databricks 
• Streaming architectures 
• Experience leveraging AI/LLM code assists  
• Modern data modeling approaches 

•  You will help shape enterprise technology strategy for industry-leading clients while influencing the growth of Electric Mind’s engineering culture. You will work on high-impact, high-visibility programs and help mentor the next generation of technical leaders.
