Vice President, Pharmacy Benefit Consulting

EPIC is a large, growing brokerage and consulting firm focused on delivering pharmacy benefit solutions to employer clients. The Vice President, Pharmacy Benefit Consulting - Employer Middle Market will lead a team of clinicians and consultants to drive client satisfaction, portfolio growth, profitability, product development, and strategic client consulting across middle market employer accounts.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of PBM and specialty pharmacy operations and contracting
  • Strong clinical and financial analysis capability
  • Proven client relationship, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with broker, TPA and captive market dynamics
  • Vendor sourcing, procurement and implementation experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Zoom and analytics/reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of clinicians, consultants, and support personnel for Employer Middle Market pharmacy consulting
  • Drive client and broker satisfaction, retention, portfolio growth, and NPS
  • Develop and execute clinical and commercial business strategy for the segment
  • Manage PBM and specialty pharmacy vendor relationships including procurement, contracting, and implementation
  • Oversee program operations: audits, market checks, reporting, vendor management, and product maintenance
  • Support sales and marketing efforts for the segment and provide strategic client consulting
  • Contribute to EPIC/PSG leadership discussions and overall clinical strategy
  • Provide guidance for development and enhancement of Artemetrx by sharing client and team insights

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with pharmacy background required (e.g., BPharm) or related field
  • MBA and/or PharmD/RPh strongly preferred
