Front-End Software Engineer

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should understand UI/UX designs/concepts and the full-stack technologies that power them. You will be responsible for building internal and external web applications using modern front-end frameworks. You should have an understanding of how to develop and deploy these applications to a production environment. These duties include working alongside designers, backend engineers, architects for high-level design implementation, and other business stakeholders. You’ll work on projects ranging in size and scope to support our product offerings, owning all stages of website development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. If you have experience launching large-scale website rollouts, building landing pages, and managing site enhancements, you’ll thrive in this role.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Development, test, implement, and maintain web applications. 

• Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

• Build modular, responsive, and high-performance frontend components using Vue.js. 

• Manage the deployment of applications to production environments ensuring stability, scalability, observability, and performance. 

• Monitor and optimize website performance, including page load speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, privacy/cookie compliance 

• Provide realistic timelines for projects and manage the project to completion within the timeline set. Proactively communicate progress and blockers to stakeholders. 

• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, applying improvements to keep the applications modern, secure, and competitive. 

What you’ll need: 

• 3+ years’ experience maintaining and building modern single page web applications. 

• Understanding of device compatibility and cross-browser testing. 

• Demonstrated understanding of UX/UI concepts. 

• Full cycle experience designing UX prototypes and UI through execution. 

• Design and development for desktop and mobile responsive design. 

• Non-technical skills (design, color psychology, typography). 

• Experience monitoring web performance metrics and preparing clear reports for stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions. Research usability, usage scenarios and mockup finding. 

• A/B design and testing. 

• Experience with GA4 and Hotjar reporting. 

• Self-starter who can work independently but also works well as a team. 

• Desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. 

• Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree with career path. 

Bonus Points: 

• Experience with Python, Java, Spring, Thymeleaf, Vue.js. 

• Having authored technical design documents tracking changing or new distributed systems. 

• Having participated in any telecommunications industry, research groups or projects. 

• Having contributed to various open-source projects.
