Business Development Advisor - job 1 of 3

Honor Technology, together with its consumer care brand Home Instead, delivers technology-enabled in-home care to help older adults age in place. We are seeking a field-based Business Development Advisor in the Omaha market to own referral demand generation, build durable partnerships with healthcare and community referral sources, and drive consistent, repeat client volume through consultative relationship-building and disciplined execution.

Skills

  • Outside, field-based sales experience selling a service
  • Quota-carrying experience with measurable results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable spending most time in the community and driving action-oriented conversations
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and other collaboration systems

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of referral relationships (hospitals, SNFs, rehab centers, senior living, community partners).
  • Execute consultative sales process: prospecting, cold outreach, follow-ups, and tailored solutions.
  • Mobilize referral partners by aligning Home Instead services to partner needs and care gaps.
  • Ask directly for referrals and remove friction in the referral process to create urgency and momentum.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and use data to diagnose performance gaps and refine outreach.
  • Spend ~75% of time in the community executing repeatable field outreach and stakeholder influence.
  • Support in-home consultations, care starts, and occasional after-hours needs to strengthen relationships.
  • Re-energize stalled relationships and sustain long-term engagement and productivity.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
