About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Accounting Manager to join our US Finance and Accounting team. This is a broad, hands-on role for a proactive and forward-thinking accountant: someone who goes well beyond transactional accounting and actively looks for ways to improve how we work. You'll play a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with our UK finance team, while also helping us drive smarter, more efficient processes through technology and AI tools.

What You’ll Do

General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all accounts
• Support the Assistant Controller in delivering timely month-end reporting

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required

Accounts Payable

• Oversee the AP cycle, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment runs
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline and modernize the AP function

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Liaise with the UK finance team on intercompany transactions and reporting alignment
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed

Systems, Process & AI

• Work within NetSuite as the primary accounting system
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
• Evaluate and adopt AI tools to automate routine accounting tasks and enhance the quality and speed of financial reporting
• Stay current on emerging finance technology and bring forward-thinking recommendations to leadership

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, with demonstrated breadth beyond AP
• Strong proficiency in NetSuite
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a genuine interest in technology and AI tools
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and proposing smarter ways of working
• Experience in a tech or high-growth company is a plus

• First Stage Interview (30 mins) - Virtual interview with the People Team to tell you more about JustPark and discuss your background, career goals, and role fit
• Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins) - Virtual interview with the Hiring Manager to dive deeper into your experience and your interest for the role
• Panel Interview (1 hour) - Final interview with a panel of the Finance team at JustPark. We'll ask you to come prepared with a task for this stage and present your ideas back to the team. We'll also discuss and final questions with you around the role and JustPark
