Senior Software Engineer
Skills
- Strong backend engineering and ownership of projects/systems
- Experience with Node.js and/or Python
- Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable)
- Distributed systems and scalability knowledge
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Pulumi or Terraform)
- Familiarity with security and compliance in production systems
- Experience using automation or AI-driven tools to improve developer productivity
- Cross-functional collaboration and clear technical communication
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and systems supporting the enterprise SaaS platform
- Contribute to platform architecture evolution (multi-tenancy, scalability) within team projects
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance (primarily GCP)
- Use infrastructure-as-code tools (Pulumi preferred, Terraform acceptable) to manage environments
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python
- Apply security, compliance, and distributed-systems best practices in production
- Drive engineering efficiency through automation and AI-driven tooling
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to turn requirements into scoped technical solutions
- Support global performance, reliability, and operational excellence
- Document systems and share knowledge across the engineering team
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
- Relevant continuous learning or certifications in cloud/infrastructure are a plus
