The Branded Social Creator is a hands-on content maker responsible for supporting the development, capture, and editing of branded social content built for native platform distribution. This role focuses on execution: helping turn ideas into strong platform-appropriate content that is visually sharp, culturally aware, and aligned with advertiser goals.
Working under the direction of the Senior Social Creator and in close partnership with the Executive Producer of Social, Creative, and Production, this person will help bring branded social concepts to life across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms. They should be comfortable creating in fast-moving environments and translating creative direction into content that feels native to the feed.
This role is ideal for someone with strong maker instincts, good taste, and solid platform fluency who is ready to grow under senior creative leadership while contributing meaningfully to a high-volume area of the business.
Hybrid 3x a week- New York
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

As demand for custom branded social content continues to grow, this role supports the team’s ability to execute at speed without compromising quality.
About The Positions Contributions:

Creative Execution – 70%
Capture and edit social-first branded video and photo content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and related platforms
Execute against creative direction from the Senior Social Creator and broader Social team
Support the creation of story beats, shot lists, rough concepts, and lightweight creative materials for branded social content
Help package deliverables to platform specs and best practices to ensure quality and consistency
Assist with on-set or in-field content capture, including behind-the-scenes and lo-fi social assets, as needed
Create content that feels native to platform while aligning to brand and advertiser expectations
Platform Fluency & Trend Application – 15 %
Stay current on evolving platform formats, editing styles, creator behaviors, and social trends
Apply relevant trends and platform behaviors into branded executions where appropriate
Contribute ideas that improve how content lands in-feed without overcomplicating the creative
Cross-Functional Collaboration – 15 %
Partner with the Senior Social Creator, Executive Producer of Social, Creative, Production, and editorial partners to support branded executions
Collaborate with internal and external creators, talent, or production teams as needed
Help ensure branded content is delivered in a way that is clear, organized, on-brand, and ready for publishing workflows
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience creating social-first content for brands, publishers, creators, or personal platforms with a strong point of view
Hands-on experience in photography, video capture, editing, and basic graphic creation
Strong video and photo capture and editing skills across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and similar short-form formats
Comfort working across lo-fi, quick-turn content as well as more polished edits depending on the ask
Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar editing tools
Experience supporting branded content, custom social executions, or advertiser-informed storytelling is a plus
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, and what makes work feel native to feed
Good eye for composition, pacing, framing, and platform-specific storytelling
Strong awareness of trends, creator behaviors, and evolving visual language across social platforms
Genuine interest in internet culture, lifestyle content, and emerging creative formats
Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction, respond to feedback, and work closely with cross-functional teams
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Interest in lifestyle, food, travel, auto, or culture-driven categories is a plus
Strong communication skills and comfort contributing ideas in team settings

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
