Area Lead, Central

On is a performance footwear and apparel brand focused on igniting the human spirit through movement. The Area Lead, Central will support multiple Store Leaders across the Central North America region by driving operational excellence, building brand presence, managing regional P&L, and developing high-performing retail teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own business and people strategies for the Central region, planning for steady state and 1-year outlooks.
  • Set regional and store-level KPIs, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple stores ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage regional budget, forecast revenue and expenses, and collaborate with Store Leaders to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze financial and operational reports to identify trends and implement process improvements.
  • Provide Store Leaders with tools, resources, and guidance to execute local and global priorities.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor high-potential employees and build a pipeline for future leadership.
  • Support learning and development, deliver coaching and performance evaluations, and foster employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify business opportunities, build community relationships, and drive revenue.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in business, retail management, or related field
