Founded by Harvard graduates with a background at Jane Street, Onyx is headquartered in downtown Manhattan (NoHo). This role is Hybrid.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse of sports social media video content. As a Social Media Ambassador at Onyx Odds, you won’t just post; you’ll drive culture. You’ll turn big sports moments into on-camera content, build narratives around games, and bring your audience into the Onyx ecosystem. If you already have a strong voice online and want a platform to help your sports related content grow, this is your chance to scale it with us.
What You'll Do
• Create daily content: sports recaps, reactions, hot takes, sport gaming predictions, and game-day coverage across multiple social media platforms
• Jump on trends in real time and make them relevant to the Onyx brand
• Actively engage with your audience and ours: replies, quote tweets, comments, DMs
• Bring your existing following into the Onyx community and help grow it
• Collaborate with our team on brand campaigns, drops, and events
• Help amplify Onyx’s tone and voice to a wider social media audience
• Analyze and collaborate on decision making on general social media strategy

• Ability to consistently create high-performing content
• Experience creating on-camera vertical video content
• Has instincts as to what’s trending before it trends
• Creative, fast, and not afraid to take risks or stir debate
• Genuinely loves sports and follows storylines daily
• Understands internet culture and how to capture attention
• Enjoys a fast paced environment and thrives in chaos
Nice to Have
• Already have an established social presence (sports-focused strongly preferred)
• Experience growing a sports gaming following
• Familiarity with sports gaming, fantasy sports, or prediction platforms
• Proficient video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, TikTok/Instagram Reels, etc.)
• Experience monetizing content and/or collaborating with brands
Compensation: $60k – $100k
