Skills
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with leadership on cross-functional projects
- Proven experience building and maintaining shared UI platforms, design systems, or component libraries
- Deep knowledge of modern web platform engineering: TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Lit
- Familiarity with bundlers and build tools (Vite, Rollup, Webpack) and performance observability
- Practical knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and accessibility-focused development
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reusable UI components and higher-level patterns for a cross-platform design system.
- Collaborate with product teams, designers, and engineers to ensure components meet real product needs and maintain consistency.
- Drive frontend architecture and rendering performance improvements to optimize load times and bundle sizes at scale.
- Advance accessibility by implementing WCAG best practices, accessible components, tooling, and documentation.
- Improve frontend developer experience via shared tooling, documentation, and platform enhancements to increase engineering productivity.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- No strict degree requirement; equivalent professional experience considered
