Responsibilities: Assist in project implementation, participate in planning meetings, shadow Project Managers, write user stories, and test various use cases.

Qualifications: Current undergraduate student graduating between December 2026 - June 2027 in a related field with a passion for product management and technology.

Location: Chandler, AZ, USA

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $15 - $25.

Interns have the opportunity to meet with experienced professionals across a variety of software disciplines and be a part of a world-class Business Analysis and Project Management team that builds and supports learning products used by millions of people every day. Savvas Project Management interns work on special projects that improve the digital learning experience for students and teachers. 

Past interns have worked on projects that included:

• Integrating an adaptive learning engine into our platform 
• Improving our content authoring tools 
• Improving the accessibility of Realize for students with disabilities
• Porting an application from Chromebooks to Windows 
• Creating an AR application as a companion to Savvas textbooks 
• Creating security monitoring dashboards 
• Developing automated tests for our learning management service 
• Creating project dashboards and automations for team level project tracking data.

On a typical day, the Intern will:

• Participate in a planning meeting with a team
• Meet with and shadow Project Managers to learn their role
• Learning customer empathy through bug reproduction and analysis.
• Elicit and evaluate project requirements
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria. 
• Work on the project implementation 
• Test various use cases

What We Are Looking For:

• You are a current undergraduate student at an accredited college or university, with a graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027, studying Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
• You can commit to a full-time role (40 hours per week) for ten weeks out of the summer
• You’re enthusiastic about working in a hybrid environment, on-site a minimum of two days per week in Boston, MA
• You have an interest in Product Management and what it means to be a Product Owner. 
• You are excited to help build meaningful software that supports students and teachers
• You show a genuine passion for technology and a proactive curiosity about emerging solutions, consistently applying new learnings to deliver measurable value.
• You’re a great communicator, verbally and in writing
• You’re organized and manage time well  
• You can multitask and set priorities, and you complete assigned tasks on schedule with the required level of quality 
• You’re open to using constructive feedback to refine your skills, and you’re open to working collaboratively on and with a team
• You have an interest in Agile software development and how teams work together to produce valuable software.
