Skills
- Proficient SQL querying and data extraction
- Experience with Python and/or Alteryx for data transformation and automation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Ability to translate tax requirements into technical specs and system changes
- Experience with system testing, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Project management and stakeholder communication
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain global tax technology systems, ensuring data integrity and performing system testing
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and third-party vendors
- Work with cross-functional teams to map processes, identify gaps, and drive system enhancements
- Design and implement tax data management and analytics solutions, including writing SQL queries
- Identify and lead projects to automate repetitive tax tasks and increase process efficiency
- Liaise between the tax team, internal software engineers, and external software providers
- Train users on system changes and assist in post-deployment troubleshooting
- Contribute to tax reporting and compliance workflows for indirect tax determination and income tax provision
Education
- Bachelor's degree required (related field such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science preferred)
