Administrative Specialist

As a Administrative Specialist based in Austin, TX, you will play a critical role in supporting a federal government client by ensuring accurate data management and administrative support across complex case files and investigative packages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and process case files, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic records
- Enter and update information in databases and tracking systems
- Request and gather additional information as needed to support case processing
- Assist with handling petitions, claims, and related documentation
- Identify and correct missing or inconsistent information in files
- Track case status and ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare and distribute documents, including reports and court-related materials
- Support team members and leadership with document collection and case file completion
- Communicate with internal teams, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders as needed
- Provide general administrative support related to case management
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including spreadsheet and word processing tools
- Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets
- Experience entering, extracting, and retrieving data from databases
- English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience reviewing and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Experience maintaining and managing case or project files in both paper and electronic formats
- Experience preparing and formatting management or program reports
- Experience reconciling data inconsistencies and correcting reports or correspondence
