About the role:
This is the first business operations role at Miles AI, and is the position that will determine Miles’ success. You’ll be the CEO’s right hand – the person who owns the GTM operating system required to scale this recently launched product.
This is not a support role. You’ll own four areas end-to-end: strategy, sales execution, growth execution, and company operations. You’ll have real accountability to revenue outcomes and build the processes that let us scale from 0 -> 1.
What you'll do:
Strategy — ICP and market segmentation, pricing and packaging, pipeline forecasting, board and investor materials
Sales Execution — pipeline management and reviews, AE/SDR hiring, CRM setup and optimization (Salesforce), sales enablement materials, trial operations and onboarding
Growth Execution — outbound campaigns and lead lists, funnel conversion analysis
Company Operations — recruiting pipeline management across GTM and engineering, vendor management, ad hoc strategic projects
About you:
4–7 years of experience in a high-growth startup or top-tier consulting/banking/PE role, with meaningful time in a commercial or GTM operations function
Founder mentality - you don't need to be told what to do next. You see what matters most and go do it
You've owned a pipeline before — not just reported on one. You know what good demo-to-trial-to-close looks like and you can move the levers
You've run a hiring process end-to-end at least once — sourcing, screening, coordinating, closing
Comfortable in a CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred) and can set up workflows, not just use them
You make decisions with imperfect data: form a hypothesis, test it, move on
Bias to action — you'd rather try something and learn than wait for perfect information
Trucking or logistics experience is a plus; genuine curiosity about the industry is non-negotiable

For this role, the estimated salary range for this position is $ 130,000- $170,000 plus equity. The actual base salary will vary depending on multiple factors unique to each candidate, including location, job-related knowledge, transferable skills, work experience and our assessment of your level during the interview process. Miles AI offers equity for all full-time employees, which is not included in the range listed above and will have an impact on your overall compensation.
