Zscaler is a cloud-native leader in Zero Trust security, leveraging AI and the world’s largest security data lake to protect customers across devices and locations. The company is seeking a Chicago-based Account Executive to drive commercial sales, build executive-level relationships, and close net-new logos while collaborating across teams to deliver strategic cloud security solutions.

Skills

  • Full-cycle sales experience in software or security
  • Strategic sales planning and account strategy development
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
  • Track record closing net-new logos and achieving quota
  • Experience working with channel partners
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and customer stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers
  • Develop and execute long-term account strategies aligned to customer business goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for commercial accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (pre-sales, customer success, channel) to meet customer needs and develop account plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor, mapping Zscaler solutions to customer objectives
  • Leverage channel partnerships where appropriate to drive pipeline and close deals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ongoing commitment to learning and sales development
