  • Develop a deep understanding of client operations—including exploration, development, production, closure, and sustainability objectives—to provide tailored solutions
  • Manage successful delivery of mining-related projects by coordinating with Technical Delivery teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution
  • Identify opportunities to expand services across the mining value chain and partner with Market Sector Leads to develop proposals and capture new work
  • Represent AECOM and maintain relationships with mining clients, regulatory authorities, local communities, and relevant stakeholders in the region
  • Lead client retention and satisfaction efforts to ensure long-term engagement and repeat business
  • Collaborate across disciplines and business lines to deliver integrated solutions, including environmental services, water management, infrastructure, and mine engineering
  • Mentor and support team development, contributing to employee retention, capability building, and internal advancement

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS in (specific degrees) or related field
  • 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in Client Account Management for large-scale mining projects
  • Well-established network of contacts within the mining industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through influence in a matrixed or team-based environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in organizational development, client service management, program management, design, construction management, and/or business development for mining projects
  • Experience interfacing with state and local jurisdictions and mining regulatory agencies
  • Recognized leader in developing and maintaining relationships with key mining clients
  • A collaborative, team-oriented individual capable of working effectively with operations, project, and marketing teams at all levels
