Sr. Account Director

Amwell is a telehealth leader building technology-enabled care solutions across the care continuum. The Sr. Account Director, Clinical Program Engagement will own payer account relationships to drive adoption, enrollment, utilization and revenue for Amwell’s clinical programs, coordinating internal teams and third-party clinical partners to deliver on program performance and client satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience working for or with health plans and employers
  • Track record selling or managing condition management and clinical programs
  • Strong account management, program management and marketing collaboration skills
  • Analytical ability to use data for decision-making and growth identification
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
  • Experience managing third-party partners and complex stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment with strong task and project management

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical account plans to meet sales, engagement and growth targets
  • Sell Amwell’s core products and clinical programs within assigned payer accounts
  • Act as day-to-day liaison with third-party clinical program partners and hold partners accountable to engagement plans
  • Lead implementations, deployments, marketing campaigns, reporting, QBRs and post-go-live optimization
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with payer, broker, consultant and employer stakeholders at all levels
  • Leverage data analysis to identify trends, opportunities and issues; provide actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal resources (finance, marketing, clinical, product) to support account goals
  • Support open enrollment and benefits events (in-person and virtual) as needed
  • Present to client stakeholders and represent Amwell in on-site visits and executive updates
  • Drive client satisfaction, program utilization, retention and revenue expansion

Education

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
