Skills
- Excellent technical and persuasive writing skills
- Familiarity with government contracting and cost accounting/pricing methodologies
- Strong Excel skills for modeling and cost analysis
- Project management and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Experience with CRM and collaboration tools (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, Slack)
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear narratives
- Comfort engaging with engineering, design, supply chain, and finance stakeholders
- Data collection and past performance compilation for proposals
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit technical and business proposal narratives, white papers, and supporting documents
- Support capture strategy, pricing development, and cost analysis in partnership with finance and program teams
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs from engineering, program management, supply chain, legal, and finance
- Maintain deal/proposal infrastructure (Salesforce, SharePoint, Slack) and manage document/version control
- Organize and run proposal processes and reviews (kickoffs, color reviews, approvals)
- Collect and curate past performance, resumes, graphics, and other proposal artifacts
- Develop and maintain a content library of prose, briefs, and graphics for reuse across pursuits
- Support process improvement and other cross-functional initiatives related to capture and proposals
- Collaborate with internal technical counterparts to ensure accurate representation of products and capabilities
- Coordinate data sharing with Legal Operations and other corporate teams when required
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2-3 years of experience contracting with the U.S. Government (required)
- U.S. Person status (required to access export-controlled data)
