Responsibilities
- Own program lifecycle: lead projects from conception through deployment and sustainment with accountability for schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Engage with customers to capture mission requirements, represent customer priorities, and shape technical solutions with engineering teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, operations) to build, test, and deploy systems.
- Understand architecture-level technical tradeoffs and propose alternatives; translate technical details for varied audiences.
- Plan and execute demonstrations, tests, site deployments, and sustainment activities; remove impediments and escalate issues as needed.
- Build clear program narratives and presentations tailored to government stakeholders, partners, and internal leadership.
- Manage risks, dependencies, schedules, and programmatic reporting; maintain compliance with contractual and DoD requirements.
- Travel to customer sites and field deployments as required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience or comfort working in DoD/defense acquisition environment
- Possession and ability to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
